Dmx x gon give it to ya download. Ubisoft has announced the full list of changes coming to Rainbow Six Siege in the Operation Wind Bastion update. The release of Wind Bastion marks the start of Siege's Year 3, Season 4, which is the final season of 2018. You can try Operation Wind Bastion's new map and Operators on the PC version's test servers right now.
The biggest changes coming to Siege in Operation Wind Bastion are two new Operators and an additional multiplayer map. Nomad is the new Attacker Operator, whose airjab launcher allows her to send Defenders flying through the air out of cover or through walls. Kaid is the new Defender Operator, whose electroclaws can electrify multiple reinforced walls and hatches, as well as barbed wire and deployable shields from a distance--which makes him seem massively overpowered. The new map, called Fortress, offers numerous roof access points for Attackers, as well as several staircases and ladders for Defenders to set up traps and choke points.
Operation Wind Bastion also includes additional weapon skins and a headgear bundle. Shop navigation will also be updated to let you see weapons in fullscreen and buy new items directly from the News tab. Five older Operators are also receiving balancing changes. Mute, Clash, and Smoke are being buffed, while Lesion and Zofia are being nerfed. The full list of changes can be read in Operation Wind Bastion's patch notes, but we've outlined the highlights below.

Ubisoft has formally unveiled Operation Wind Bastion, the final season for Year Three of Rainbow Six SiegeRainbow Six Siege Wind Bastion Seasonal Skins
, at the Pro League Season 8 Finals in Rio, Brazil.Wind Bastion a Moroccan-inspired season, and contains two new operators, Kaid and Nomad and a new map in the form of Fortress. We’ve known about most of this for a while now, however the exact details of what the three will bring to game hadn’t entirely been pinned down before today.
Operation Wind Bastion's two new operators, Kaid and Nomad.
UbisoftFirst, attacker operator Nomad is a two speed, two armor operator armed with the Air Jab Launcher. The launcher fires a proximity mine that, when detonated by the enemy team, pushes them (and any nearby teammates) back and briefly knocks them over, allowing Nomad to blow defenders out of cover, create a defensive perimeter or even disarm shield operators for a short time. Characters caught by the Air Jab will break any destructible wall they crash into, and they can be pushed off tall ledges for some potential fall kills.
Despite the powerful tool, she has a few big weaknesses, particularly in the form of Jager whose own gadget can disable the Air Jab. The Air Jab also affects teammates, too, meaning using it in close-range skirmishes might prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.

Meanwhile, on the defense is Kaid, a one speed, three armor anchor whose gadget is the Rtila. Much like Bandit, Kaid can electrify metal surfaces such as reinforced walls, deployable shields, barbed wire and hatches. However, Kaid differs predominantly in how their gadgets are deployed, as each of the three charges can be thrown from a distance and have a range of effect, meaning there need not be any contact with the surfaces being affected. Electricity can travel through multiple surfaces, allowing for a single Rtila to electrify entire rooms if properly deployed.
Kaid also differs to Bandit in his gear loadout. Not only is he a three armour, one speed character (to Bandit’s one armour, three speed), he has access to a shotgun that can pack a punch at mid- and close-range. The result of this is Kaid will work well for some points, especially areas with hatch access, however Bandit should still be viable for others.
The Rtila has some drawbacks, though. Primarily, it takes time to deploy and charge, meaning it can’t be used to effectively close off breachers who are already incoming. It’s also vulnerable to IQ’s vision, Thatcher’s EMP grenade and Twitch’s drones can all easily find and destroy them.
Kaid, the new defender operator in Wind Bastion
UbisoftThe new map is Fortress, a Kasbah that serves as both Kaid’s home (in an interesting bit of worldbuilding for Siege) and as a military training facility. Verticality is the core tenet of Fortress, as the main structure can be rappelled into from all angles, and there are towers that provide the attacking team easier access to the second floor of the building. It isn’t stacked up against the defense, though, as there appear to be funnel-points that clever fortification, and use of Kaid’s gadget, can force the attack into.

UbisoftA date for Operation Wind Bastion has yet to be announced. However, it will almost definitely be available on the Rainbow Six Siege PC Test Server before it hits the main build on all platforms.
Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Season 4 Operation Wind Bastion – mouthful that this moniker is – will be out on December 4. That’s the usual two weeks after the release of the TTS, and while there was speculation that Wind Bastion would be delayed until December 11, Ubisoft confirmed today that won’t be the case. International superstar soccer 98. The developers have also provided release times for the launch.
Downtime for Wind Bastion will begin at 6:00 PDT / 9:00 EDT / 14:00 GMT on December 4. That downtime is scheduled to last for one hour, and once it’s done you’ll be able to play with the new features of the update. PC gets the patch first – PlayStation 4 will be delayed by one hour, and Xbox One will be delayed by two.
As always, the new operators will drop exclusively for season pass owners on the Wind Bastion release date. Everyone else will have to wait a week before picking them up with in-game currency, but you’ll have access the new Fortress map no matter what. You can check out the official site for full patch notes if you want details on everything that’s being added for Wind Bastion.
The principle reason many suspected a delay for the new season is balance – Kaid and Nomad have gotten some pretty significant nerfs during the course of their time on the TTS, and a handful of other issues have had players concerned about further balance tweaks.
